"Experience the joy of making art prints with a Gel Press plate."
Printing with paint and paper with a gelatin plate is a fun, spontaneous way to make art. And it’s addicting. You’ll want to keep making more and more prints to see how they turn out. You’ll be surprised with your results. You can use the prints you make as a stand-alone piece of art, as a monotype, or you can use the papers to make greeting cards, bookmarks, or collage material for another art project. The sky’s the limit.
This is a great and easy way to loosen up and tap into your own creativity. Even if you think you don’t have a creative bone in your body! In this workshop, Tom Hlas will teach you the fundamentals of gel plate printing and you’ll go home with art created by your own hands.
No experience is required. It’s a great class for beginners to experienced artists. All materials needed will be available for your use during the class including a Gel Press plate, a brayer, GOLDEN OPEN Acrylic paints, stencils and paper.
